For decades, we have been a market leader in rear-seat entertainment, remote start products and other related automotive technologies, while advancing in-vehicle solutions for the who's who of the automotive industry. Over the years, we have partnered with many of the world's leading Tier-1 suppliers, including Audi, Bentley, BMW, Citroen, Daimler, FCA, Ford, GM, Hyundai, KIA, Jaguar/Land Rover, Mazda, Nissan, Peugeot, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Scion, Subaru, Toyota, and more. In 2015, we broke ground on our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Orlando, FL and in 2016, opened this 115,000 square-foot facility reinforcing our commitment to our automotive, 12-Volt and retail customers. In Orlando, we house all operations, including re-manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, supply chain management & quality, and engineering, in addition to HR and IT resources and our new corporate offices. Among the manufacturing processes done at the new building are: welding, foam formation, laminating and sewing, along with the electronic assembly of the Company's products.

In addition to the OE component of our business, we have been a leader in supplying automotive products and services to the 12-Volt automotive industry, as well as many of the world's leading retailers. Through VOXX Electronics Corporation, we develop, market and distribute a wide array of products including rear-seat entertainment, vehicle security, remote start systems, satellite radio, collision avoidance and back-up sensors, audio products, vehicle access app-based solutions, and telematics. This segment of our business formed the foundation of Audiovox, which later became VOXX International Corporation.

VOXX Electronics Corporation ("VEC"), a subsidiary of VOXX International Corporation, has an over 50-year history in the aftermarket and is one of the very few premier companies that has consistently delivered a broad range of 12-Volt products to the industry. From its early days as a car stereo company to the high-end connected car solutions it sells today, the Company has been an innovator and leader in the industry. The Company's success is due in part to the number of respected brands in its 12-Volt portfolio, its innovative products as well as its attention to the special needs of the varied and very specific distribution channels it serves.

VEC's broad range of products include automotive entertainment and infotainment, vehicle security and tracking, remote start, telematics, connected car solutions and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). VEC also pioneered many vehicle security firsts including longer range and remote systems. VEC's engineering and new product development is managed by the OEM engineering teams in both our Florida and Detroit facilities, which allows the 12-Volt group access to some of the newest OE technologies on the market. VEC markets through an extensive distribution network that includes:
independent 12-Volt specialists, car dealers, expeditors, distributor and power retailers, and select mass merchants with 12-Volt retail programs.
